A new Native Planting at Fort Cooper State Park!!

The Friends of Fort Cooper and Citrus FNPS teamed up to install native plants in what was an unsightly turfgrass traffic island. Read about it here.  Another, larger installation will take place later in the year.

Are you eligible for a Grant from Citrus Chapter?

Individuals and groups located in or adjacent to the chapter area of Citrus County are eligible for grants up to $300. FNPS membership is not required.

Up to $100 is available to FNPS members with native plant projects in the area. Projects could be additions to existing gardens, container gardens, Monarch Way-stations, invasive removal & restoration, entryway  landscaping, educational outreach, etc. - Be Creative!
